Say hello to my new friend, Lenovo ThinkPad X260.
Finally I managed to ditch the MacBook Air. Sorry Apple Mac lovers, it seems MacBook Air has been disappointing me in many aspects. Also, the cost to repair the screen and trackpad is very expensive and not many third party shops can service the problems other than Mac store.
I bought the ThinkPad X260 for RM 5,448.00 including Windows 10, Microsoft Office2016 (Home & Student) and ESET anti-virus software.
For the same price, I could almost get a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display exclusive Microsoft Office, but I've had enough of MacBook products.

Why ThinkPad?
I have been admiring ThinkPads since I was a schoolkid and back in those days, the ThinkPad series was designed, developed and sold by IBM.
ThinkPads are known for their minimalist, black and box design which was initially modeled in 1990 by industrial designer.
ThinkPads are popular with large businesses and schools. Older ThinkPad models are revered by technology enthusiasts, collectors and power users due to their durable design, relatively high resale value, and abundance of aftermarket replacement parts.
ThinkPad laptops have been used in space and, by 2003, were the only laptops certified for use on the International Space Station.

ThinkPad X260
"Optimized for Business". Lenovo uses these words to describe the new Lenovo ThinkPad X260.
The ThinkPad X260 is one of the latest ThinkPad Ultrabook models produced by Lenovo. The Thinkpad X260 replaced the earlier Thinkpad X250 in 2016.
This new version adopts Skylake processors, adds an additional USB 3.0 port and replaces the VGA port with an HDMI port in addition to the existing Mini DisplayPort port. Lenovo claims the X260 can achieve battery life of 21.5 hours from a full charge.
It has 6 rows of keyboard and I really love the high-quality notebook keyboard. You should feel the keyboard surface as they grip keyboard surface and each key of the keyboard is elliptic-concave shape that makes easy to type as they are very well integrated and do not clatter.
At first, the F keys and Fn function keys are difficult to use. Lenovo has set the Fn as a default instead of F keys. We use the F keys more than Fn keys, therefore it was hard to get used with them.
To switch the Fn keys to F keys, simply press Fn + Esc button. This will lock F buttons as default.
